To create a separate commercial real estate association to promote to the public and all prospective commercial principals and investors a unified 9 County regional association of commercial real estate practitioners who are totally focused on commercial real estate activities in Central Florida.
To promote that our members have the highest possible experience and expertise as it relates to commercial real estate transactions.
To deliver to our members ever increasing business opportunities and to gain the respect from the public that membership with this association indicates the highest possible dedication to our industry and service to our clients, through promotions, events, awards, training, commercial information exchange (CIE), website presences and by the widest possible participation and membership of all commercial real estate practitioners in the 9 county area. |
Maximize our Dues

Every dollar of your local dues will benefit the commercial real estate industry here in Central Florida. Your dues will no longer be blended into a residential organization that by its necessary nature is dedicated to residential real estate. We are a complete and separate Real Estate Board. This organization's goals are to be a nonprofit organization totally designed to give back every dollar to its members in the form of services and benefits to improve their business. There is a reason to be a REALTOR; The National Association of Realtors has recognized the need to provide timely support to the commercial real estate industry. By having all of our NAR and FAR dues earmarked to improve the commercial real estate industry, we can use the considerable political and national platforms to improve our business. NAR is currently undertaking a new national commercial information exchange (CIE), designed for commercial properties. When completed this CIE will increase our national sphere of influence to a much higher degree. Maximizing this organization's political clout to focus on issues that are a detriment to our industry. We will be heard longer and louder. Through NAR actions, many issues have been prevented that would have adversely affected every licensed real estate broker and agent. A voice to be heard must be loud and backed by power of the endorsements and votes. |
Regional Education

CFCAR goal is to provide specialized tools and training to our commercial practitioner members and thereby to enhance and grow their business. Tools that will be included but not limited to Designation courses such as CCIM, SIOR, IREM, etc and specialized courses that will provide improved commercial expertise and enhance our members business processes including continuing education. CFCAR will provide opportunities for residential practitioners to gain insight into the commercial real estate industry, through Introduction to Commercial Real Estate Classes. These classes will be held in each of our 9 county jurisdictions and co-sponsored with the local Board. We are not competing with residential boards; all the boards in our 9 county area approved our formation. We want to be their support for commercial real estate education and the commercial information source for residential agents. |
| Commercial Information Exchange (CIE): |
"Member Only" access to a nine county centralized and exclusive property listing and comparable property sale database, with integrated communication and marketing platform, owned and controlled by the association to be included in our dues. |

To produce a website that becomes the site for investors, principals and real estate practitioner to go to first if they are interested in acquiring commercial real estate. This website shall provide easy access to available properties. A calendar of events that is not just for CFCAR activities but all real estate activities in our Central Florida Area. As well as provide easy access to membership and event activities online. |

Provide a cohesive and open network for practitioners, investors, sellers, buyers, tenants and affiliate providers interested in our region, to have an interactive opportunity to establish a successful transactional relationship. |
| Regional Awards: |
Expand the recognition of top performance awards to include all commercial practitioners in the 9 county regional/demographic areas. |
| Networking: |
Provide multiple and sustained programs for marketing, networking events & local board meetings to promote increased earnings thru increased transactions, relationships and other opportunities. |
| Industrial Awareness: |
Provide quarterly forums for all commercial real estate interests to convey, network and gain insight into market conditions, practitioners and/or legislative initiatives specific to our market and interest; Annual Economic Outlook Conference Retail Symposiums, Sites Selection Seminar, Economic Development Panels, Community/Regional Initiatives, etc. |
| Government Affairs: |
Through current and future programs provide a unified voice to all local, state and national legislature issues affecting our industry, in addition to electoral candidate screening and support recommendations. In particular provide the means for our voices to be heard when adverse conditions have been created that will affect real estate transactions and the business goals of our clients. |

Provide ancillary discount programs; credit union access, errors & omissions insurance, car rentals; proprietary data information, software, equipment, business supplies, etc. |
| Communications/Forums: |
Provide commercial practitioners with an ongoing and current pulse of our organization, local, region, and state issues, current transactions, meeting information, up coming educational events, etc., utilizing internet and newsletter communication to registered participants. |
| Arbitration-Mediation: |
Operating by an established Code of Ethics, provide a sound process for resolution of disputes associated with commercial practitioners. |

Our final previous website is still up and you can go to http://www.cfcar.net/ to get an application and pay for the dues. Since we are in the process of developing a great new site, there are times it may not be easy to navigate.
