Update from Tallahassee & RPAC!

During the Florida Realtors Mid-Winter Business Meetings, the Florida Realtor PAC Trustees, approved a motion to request a 16% contribution from each association's Local RPAC Funds. This 16% would represent $500,000 towards a $2.5 million Florida Realtor commitment to the fight against Amendment 4. These funds will help in the statewide media campaign directed by our coalition, Citizen's for Lower Taxes and a Stronger Economy. With only a few days left before Great American Realtor Days many local Associations have been pushing to get final approval from their board of directors for the 16% contribution. In all, the $2.5 million dollars will represent a unified commitment by Realtors to improve Florida's future. President Davis will recognize Boards who are donating 16% of their RPAC Funds to this effort at the Legislative Briefings next week (if we have notified been notified prior to GARD).
